I've been sick this week. Sick and grouchy and wishing Lorelei would just play by herself as much as possible.
I realized this morning I haven't taken the time to make her laugh in a few days! She's easy to amuse so to me this is a problem.
So my New Years resolution is.... to take the time to try to get Lorelei to laugh at least once every day!

I'm sorry you're sick. There's just no time for Mom to be sick, is there? Remember the "good old days" of sickness when you could curl up in bed and watch movies and snooze until you got better? Not for 18 years!
ReplyDeleteBut, of course, as you know, it's worth it. I'm sure once Lorelei smile will transport you to another universe for a while. One where there is no sickness or boredom or poop.
I like your resolution. I'm going to adopt it for myself with my baby girl Lilypie.
It susre is hard when mom is sick cause babies still want you 24 / 7.
